Millheim Borough is located in Centre County, Pennsylvania on Route 45 approximately 30 miles east of State College. The Borough is situated in a rural setting that offers close proximity to Penn State sporting activities, restaurants, theatres, and shopping. The town itself offers quaint craft shops, restaurants, a volunteer fire company, ambulance service, banking facilities, and a community swimming pool. The Borough has a designated Historic District that is listed with the Centre County Historical Society. The Penns Valley Area School District is located approximately three miles west of Millheim on Route 45.

Parking: There is 2-hour parking in the downtown business district.   The area is signed and offenders may be ticketed.  Please note:  Parking in front of a fire hydrant is not permitted, offenders will be ticketed.

The next meeting of the Neighborhood Crime Watch will be March 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Millheim Borough Council Room.  All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Library Moved to Millheim Borough Building
The Millheim Borough is pleased to welcome the East Penns Valley Branch Library, formerly Aaronsburg Library, to the main floor of the Millheim Borough Building.  The new library hours are :
                 Monday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
                 Tuesday: 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
                 Wednesday:  Closed
                 Thursday: 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
                 Friday: 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
                 Saturday: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
                 Sunday:  Closed

Important Rules and Regulations
Sidewalk Obstructions: It is the responsibility of the property owner to see that all sidewalks are cleared of snow, ice and other obstructions within twenty-four (24) hours after the same shall cease to fall, in the case of snow, or shall have occurred, in the case of ice or other obstructions. 
 
Curbside brush pick up is done the first Monday of the month beginning in April and ending in December.  The pick up for January is the second Monday of the month so Christmas trees can be collected.  No pick ups are done in February or March.  Please call Glenn Ripka at 349-8177 to be added to the list.
