|Smoke Testing of Sanitary Sewer Lines|
Millheim Borough Council will be conducting smoke testing of the sanitary sewer lines on Monday and Tuesday, July 20 & 21, 2015. Click on the link provided for answers to frequently asked questions about this testing.
Smoke should not enter premises unless a leak is present. Please report any presence of smoke within a house/garage immediately to the workers conducting the test or by calling the office at 349-5350.
Avoid unnecessary exposure to the smoke, since any vapor can be an irritant and direct contact with the "smoke" may be irritating to nasal passages. Any irritation caused by the smoke is temporary and quickly disappears after exposure has ceased.
|Fire Hydrant Flushing|
All fire hydrants within Millheim Borough will be flushed beginning at Midnight on Friday, July 24, 2015. If necessary, the rain date for this event will be Thursday, July 30, 2015.

An ATV Ordinance regarding ATVs, dirt bikes, and other recreational vehicles was adopted at the January 2014 Borough Council meeting. It is now unlawful to operate these vehicles within the Borough. This ordinance was adopted to reduce noise, reduce dust and dirt pollution, and improve safety for pedestrians. There are certain exceptions, such as motorized wheel chairs and scooters used by handicapped individuals, and vehicles used for property maintenance or business purposes. Also excluded are uses by the Millheim Fire Company, the Penns Valley Emergency Medical Services, and other municipal, governmental, or military personnel when used to conduct their official duties. Code Enforcement Officers as well as the Pennsylvania State Police have enforcement authority of this ordinance.
