NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS

     Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Millheim desires to sell the property located at the corner of Centre and Water Streets in the Borough of Millheim, Centre County, Pennsylvania, Centre County Tax Parcel Number 33-005-153, as described in Centre County Record Book 2060, Page 385.  Pursuant to Section 1201(4) of the Borough Code, request is hereby made for sealed bids from interested parties for the purchase of this property.  Interested bidders should submit a sealed bid to Sharon A. Heckman, Millheim Borough Secretary, Millheim Borough Municipal Building, 225 East Main Street, P.O. Box 421, Millheim, PA 16854 no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010.  The results of the bidding shall be made by public announcement at the regular meeting of Millheim Borough Council to be held on September 14, 2010 commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the Millheim Borough Municipal Building.  The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for a period of 30 days following the announcement of the bid results.  Realty transfer taxes, if any, shall be shared equally by the parties and final settlement shall take place within 60 days of the date the Borough accepts the bid.  Additional information regarding this property may be obtained by contacting Sharon A.
